Red fibrous sausage casings 2-1/2 x 20" are string tied on one end. These high quality sausage casings have the Deer Head Logo and are printed "VENISON SAUSAGE - NOT FOR SALE". Casings stuff about 3 pounds each. Stuffing diameter is 2.87 inches. Red casings can be smoked but are popular for steam cooked and unsmoked product too.
Fibrous casings are smoke permeable, easy to use, and keep indefinitely when properly stored. Soak casings in warm water for 20 minutes before stuffing. Store unused casings in a plastic bag in a cool dry place. Sold individually, quantities of 25, quantities of 100, or box of 1000 casings.
