Shipping Policy

We ship UPS, USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Overnight, and truck freight on qualifying orders, Monday through Friday. Every effort is made to have orders shipped the same day or no more than one business day after payment has been processed and the order confirmed, unless otherwise noted in the item's listing. However, due to occasional stock issues, orders may take longer to ship. Shipments may take longer during the fall hunting season and the Christmas shopping season.

UPS Shipping

UPS is available as a shipping option on most orders. When you check out, you will see the UPS services available for your order, such as UPS Ground and expedited UPS air services, along with their rates. Available services and rates depend on your order's weight, size, and delivery address. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, so please provide a street address when selecting a UPS service.

Transit Times

There is NO GUARANTEE OF SHIPPING OR TRANSIT TIMES.

Estimated transit times are provided by carriers, not by Southern Indiana Butcher Supply. Estimated transit times are ESTIMATED and are not guaranteed by either the carrier or by us.

Business days are Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not counted as business/working days.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are determined by the item's weight, size, shipping method and delivery address. You will see your shipping cost during checkout.

Whenever possible and cost favorable we use Flat Rate or Regional Rate Shipping Boxes from the USPS, which many times results in substantial savings for you, our customer. Your balance due will be adjusted and your card charged accordingly.

Truck Freight

If your order qualifies for truck freight shipping, you may select "Request a Freight Quote" from the shipping options on the checkout page and we will respond with a shipping quote. By selecting "Request a Freight Quote" you will see $0 as your shipping cost. YOUR FREIGHT COST IS NOT $0.00. Your freight charges will be emailed to you or we will call with a quote.

Overnight Shipping

For FedEx OVERNIGHT SERVICES a $5.00 pick-up fee is charged by FedEx and will be added to the shipping charge shown at checkout. Orders shipping overnight must be received before 12:00 noon. If the order is not received before 12:00 noon, the order will not go out until the next day. Overnight orders received on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays will ship the next working day.

Preorders

Items marked "Preorder" are not yet available to ship, either because they have not been released or because they have not yet arrived at our warehouse. You can order them now to reserve yours, and we will ship them as soon as they become available.

Preorder items do not follow our usual same-day or next-business-day shipping window. Expected availability dates are estimates from our suppliers and may change, so we cannot guarantee when a preorder item will ship.

If you pay by credit card, debit card, or bank account through Link, your payment is authorized when you place your order but is not charged until your items ship. If you pay with PayPal, you are charged in full when you place your order.

If your order includes both preorder items and items that are in stock, your order may be sent in more than one shipment. Please contact us if you would like your in-stock items held and shipped together with your preorder items.

You can check the status of each item on your order at any time from your account's order history. If you would like to cancel a preorder item before it ships, please contact us.

Addresses and PO Boxes

If the address you have given us has any mistake causing the package to be undelivered, or if the package is returned as "unclaimed" we will send your purchase again but another shipping fee plus a handling fee of $1.50 will be charged.

For customers selecting a USPS shipping option please include your PO Box in your shipping address if you have one. Please note that UPS and FedEx Ground, Home Delivery, or Expedited services will not deliver to a PO Box.
